Arrival of New Year With Poetry Readings at BKC

BKCAt the grand hall of the Bosnian Cultural Center in Sarajevo, there will be a poetry reading on occasion of the upcoming New Year on Saturday, 28 December starting at 20:00.

Poets from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Netherlands and B&H will take part. The musical part will include performances by Hor AKCUS Seljo, Hor Center for Youth Gorica, PGS Academy, and dance groups from Slovenia.

After the official part of the program, there will be a gathering for participants of the event at gallery JU BKC.

On Sunday, 29 December at midnight in front of BKC, there will be a performance called Šarena poetska čorba (Colorful Poetic Soup), where poets will read poetry, and soup will be handed out.

The poetic arrival of the New Year 2014 is organized in cooperation with the NGO Prokultura from Sarajevo and the Sarajevo Poetry Mornings.

Entrance is free.
