The New Year 21st tournament in youth football Asim Ferhatović Hase will be held from 28-29 December at the Cultural-Sports Center Skenderija.
It was said at a press conference that the Football club Vratnik in memory of the football legend Asim Ferhatović is organizing the tournament.
‘’In this way, we are showing respect towards Asim Ferhatović, who was a great man, humanitarian and football player. He was a man of the people whose deeds remind us to do well’’, said Redžad Ćatić, President of FK Vratnik.
At this year’s tournament, eight teams are participating and are divided in two groups. In group A is FK Sarajevo, FK Željezničar, MNK Tango, and FK Vratnik, while in group B is FK Olimpic, MNK Center, team Sport Avaz and a team from Austria.
The tournament is held under the auspices of the FB&H Ministry of Culture and Sport, Cantonal Ministry of Culture and Sport, City of Sarajevo and municipality Stari Grad and Center.
