Association Sredi Svoj Grad (SSG), together with HUB387 and NEST71 will organize the first Hack Day on the premises of NEST71 starting at 9:30.
Hack Day is a one day meeting of enthusiasts in the area of information technology and who wish to contribute to the development of the environment by doing what they know best: programming and development of new applications. Participants at the first Hack Day will do voluntary work on developing new functionality for the Internet platform ulica.ba.
SSG team has been committed almost a year in working to improve communication between citizens and municipal authorities when it comes to the problems in most B&H cities: holes on the road, broken street lights, contaminated green areas and similar problems. For this reason, we have developed a platform ulica.ba, which after an official presentation in December 2013 has a growing number of users and supporters. We have over 200 registered citizens who use ulica.ba and nine municipalities who exchange information with citizens through the help of platforms.
Valuable hackers, geeks and lovers of IT will take efforts to make the platform ulica.ba better and „tailor made“ to the citizens of B&H, in order to contribute in their way to a better and more beautiful environment for all of us.
