180 journalists and media workers have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since October last year, reports Al Jazeera.

This number includes three Palestinian journalists killed in Israeli attacks yesterday.

The Gaza government’s media office announced that journalists Saed Radwan of Al-Aqsa TV, Hamza Abu Salmiya of the Sanad news agency, and Haneen Baroud, who works for the Al-Quds Foundation, were killed.

The Media Office appealed to the international community and organizations for media freedom to intervene “to curb the occupation and prosecute it before international courts for continuing crimes, and exert pressure to stop the genocide and killing of Palestinian journalists.”

Israel also accused six Al Jazeera journalists of being members of Palestinian armed groups.
