What is the average Monthly Salary in BiH in January?

money2According to the BiH Statistics Agency, the average monthly salary in BiH in January amounted to 846 BAM and is nominally lower by 0.8 percent compared to December 2016 and higher by two percent in comparison to January 2016.

On the one hand, the lowest average net salary amounts to 540 BAM and was recorded in the business of providing accommodation and food service, in administrative activities it amounted to 553 BAM, whereas the average net salary in construction amounted to 559 BAM.

On the other hand, when speaking about the financial and insurance sectors, average net salary in January amounted to 1,404 BAM, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, and air conditioning amounted to 1,368 BAM, whereas the average net salary in the sector of information and communication amounted to 1,210 BAM.

The average gross salary in BiH in January amounted to 1,312 BAM and is higher by two percent in comparison to January 2016.
