What is the average Salary in BiH?

The average monthly net salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for August of this year was 858 BAM and was nominally higher by 1.8% compared to August last year, and higher by 0.6% compared to December of last year.

The lowest average net salary of 544 BAM was in the accommodation, food preparation and servicing sectors, in the construction industry it amounted to 561 BAM, while the average net salary in administrative and auxiliary service activities amounted to 594 BAM, according to the Statistics Agency of BiH.

In the financial and insurance activities, the average net salary in August 2017 amounted to 1,398 BAM, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, 1,382 BM, and the average net salary in the information and communication sector amounted to 1,259 BAM.

The average monthly gross salary in BiH in August amounted to 1,334 BAM and was nominally higher by 0.6% compared to December 2016, and higher by 1.9% compared to August last year.
