Member of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegović met with the representatives of five organisations of civil society dealing with issues of democratic and accountable governance.

Izetbegović informed the representatives of ACIPS, Association ”Zašto Ne?” (Why not), Transparency International BiH, Law Institute in BiH, Centre of Civil Initiatives about the Izetbegović’s engagements.

They talked about the current political and economic situation in the country, and special attention was given to proposed law changes at the level of BiH, that were agreed upon by six parties.

They stated that those suggestions endanger the reform process of BiH.

At the meeting they highlighted the need for cooperation between the institutions of BiH and NGOs, which could further help the development of the democracy process of BiH  and it could also speed up the process of the Euro-Atlantic integration.
