Jusuf Nurkic, a basketball player from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will perform his civic duty and go to the General Elections on October 2nd, and at the same time, he sent a message to all citizens in BiH.

The delegation of the European Union (EU) in BiH published a video in which it congratulated the BiH basketball team on the result achieved at the Eurobasket 2022, adding that they had won new fans across the EU.

They compared Eurobasket to elections because both events are organized every four years. However, unlike in basketball, citizens can influence the result of elections.

In the announcement of the EU delegation in BiH, Jusuf Nurkic, one of the most famous BiH basketball players answered short questions about himself and his life. One of the questions also related to whether the “Bosnian beast”, the nickname by which Nurkic is known in the world, will go to the elections on Sunday, October 2nd.

”I will vote a million percent. Simply, we no longer have a choice, and the choice is ours. I think we haven’t taken seriously our responsibility for elections during these years. This time we have zero excuses not to go to the elections. I think it’s the only possibility to change something for someone. Go out and vote because everything starts with your choice,” Nurkic expressed, Klix.ba reports.
