Is Beganović the New Džeko? A Pearl From Grbavica is Living His Childhood Dream!

beganovicDženis Beganović (19), a footballer from FC Željezničar is living his dream. Yesterday, he played for The Blues since the start of the match – which was always his childhood dream – and crowned his performance with a goal that is likely to be the dearest one in his life, writes news agency Patria.

Despite his exemplary performance, Beganović has already been the center of attention for a while. “The Hero of Grbavica” was the title he received after he defended the players of the football team, Široki Brijeg, from violent hooligans. He also received an unusual gesture of respect – a tattoo – from a fellow fan, Benjamin Bajramović. It was this fan that tattooed the date of Beganović’s debut for the team, and as the BH news agency, Patria, found out, a new tattoo, in honor of the first goal for the The Blues, is already being planned.

‘’Our young players were excellent, and after the match, we received another pearl from Grbavica. Dženis played great, and we all saw that he has great talent’’, said Milomir Odović, head coach of Željezničar, after the game.

Many predict that Beganović could very well be the new Edin Džeko. The talent this young man bears cannot be denied.
