Belmin Mrkanovic is a Junior Champion of Balkans

belmin mrkanovicYoung athletes from B&H won three medals (one gold and two bronze) at the Balkan Championship for younger juniors in Sremska Mitrovica (Serbia).

Belmin Mrknaovic, member of the Athletic Club Doboj Istok, won the gold medal in the race 2.000 meters steeplechase with a result of 6:02:76.

Katarina Lemez (AC Slavija) in the race at 800 m (2:14:29) and Mediha Salkic (AC Doboj Istok) in the discus throw (43.77m) won bronze medals.

15 younger male juniors and 13 female ones represented B&H at the Balkan Championship.
