BH actor Mirsad Tuka died today at the age of 59 after a long and serious illness.
Since 1996, he was a member of the ensemble of Chamber Theater 55 in Sarajevo. He played many roles in theater plays, among which the plays “Hasanaginica” by Nijaz Alispahić, “Zaba” by Elmir Jukić, “Do you remember Dolly Bell?” Kokan Mladenović, “Three Sisters” by Pjero Žalica, “Krokodil Lacoste” by Zlatko Topčić, “It” by Alija Isaković, “Polish Cavalry” by Marko Vešović, etc.
He also played in many films and TV series, including: “Nafaka”, “All for nothing”, “Remake”, “Warriors”, “Circus Colombia”, “Underground”, “Sabina K.”, ” Crazy, confused, normal” and others.
He started his professional career as an actor as a student of the Drama Studio of the National Theater Tuzla.
He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He made his debut in the movie “Holiday in Sarajevo”. For that role, he was awarded at the Festival of Acting Achievements in Niš in 1991 as the best actor.
The commemoration and last farewell of Mirsad Tuka will be held in Sarajevo on Thursday, July 13, Klix.ba reports.
