B&H Citizens pay Tribute to the Victims of Attacks in Paris (gallery)

[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Yesterday was a Mourning day in B&H in a sign of mourning for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris. At 12 p.m. with the minute of silence, reciting Fatiha and in other appropriate ways, BH citizens paid the tribute to the innocent victims, as the citizens of other European countries did as well.

In front of the French Embassy in Sarajevo numerous people from public and cultural life of B&H and other B&H citizens paid tribute to the victims by laying flowers and lighting candles.

B&H flags at all institutions were flown at half-staff.

Athan for the noon prayer that is usually recited at 12 p.m., yesterday was recited at 12.05 p.m. by the instruction issued by the Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community in B&H Husein ef. Kavazovic to all muftis in the territory of the Islamic Community in B&H (hometown, meshihats and jamaats in the Bosniak diaspora).

With the day of mourning, B&H expressed regret and sympathy with the French people after a series of terrorist attacks in Paris which led to death of innocent people.
