B&H Delegation of Ministry of Defense on Official Visit to Greece

zekerijah-osmicThe B&H delegation of the Ministry of Defense, led by Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić, will be on an official visit to Greece today. The B&H delegation was invited by the Minister of National Defense of Greece.

The delegation of the Ministry of Defense and B&H Armed Forces is composed of Brigadier General Dragan Vuković, Commander of Operational Command of the Joint Staff of B&H Armed Forces Mustafa Sinanović, Head of the Cabinet Minister and Irena Leko, Expert Advisor for Bilateral Military Cooperation.

The topics of the meeting will be the enhancement of regional cooperation, the role of Greece in the Presidency of the EU, bilateral military cooperation of B&H and Greece and other topics of interest to these two countries, announced the B&H Ministry of Defense.

Also, the state delegation of B&H will take part at the meeting of the North Atlantic Council at NATO Headquarters in Brussels on 18 March.

The NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will receive the state delegation, led by member of B&H Presidency Željko Komšić, and composed of the Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Ana Trišić-Babić, and with other colleagues.

The aim of this meeting is to assess the progress of B&H in the process of joining NATO.

At the meeting they will discuss the implementation of the program of cooperation with NATO and the progress achieved in this field, it was announced.
