The procedure of reconstruction of FBiH Government must be conducted in accordance with the Constitution that predicts such possibilities – the voting of no confidence to Government and the formation of new, said yesterday FBiH president Živko Budimir, after the meeting with the leader of the Alliance for Better Future BiH (SBB BiH) Fahrudin Radončić and the leader of Croatian Democratic Community 1990 (HDZ 1990) Božo Ljubić in Sarajevo.
Budimir said that he will not go against the Constitution, laws and procedures, because that would be very irresponsible and frivolous.
”When we finish the first step, which is the no-confidence voting; we’ll talk about the second step. There is still a demand that was constantly heard in the media – the Law on FBiH Government that will regulate the decision making in FBiH Government in the same manner as it is done in the BiH Council of Ministers, which is that third of ministers from every nation must be included in every decision” , said Budimir.
Budimir said to journalists that Radončić and Ljubić didn’t talk about his resignation.
”The stance is very clear: if there are legal procedures that can impeach the FBiH president – then let them, let them impeach me’’, said Budimir.
The initiator of the meeting and the leader of SBB BiH Fahrudin Radončić said that the meeting was very important.
”It is very important that we started talking directly, and not via the media, and I believe that this meeting is a huge step in that direction”, said Radončić.
He added that the nothing in particular was agreed at the meeting, and stated that the meeting’s purpose was to make the list of political views of its participants.
They said that they need to look the public in the eyes, and jointly reach the conclusion that the crisis in FBiH is grave, and that it could affect the entire BiH.
”Our common duty is to make everything, including compromises, to end this crisis”, added Radončić.
According to the leader of HDZ 1990 Božo Ljubić, the process of reconstruction of the Executive in FBiH has already begun by collecting the signatures.
According to Ljubić, FBiH Parliament can, in accordance with the Law on Government and the Constitution, vote on no-confidence to FBIH Government.
He noted that there is a capacity, because only 20 representatives are needed for the initiative to start, and there are already enough representatives in both houses of the Parliament.
