B&H Earned 405 Million KM from Tourism in First Half of the Year

turizamTourism in B&H is a branch of the economy on the rise, and a significant part of the tourist offers represent different activities related to rivers, lakes and the sea. It is a great responsibility of tourist employees to practice responsible behavior towards water resources.

In the first seven months of 2013, there were 467.264 tourist arrivals in B&H, which is 9,3 percent higher in comparison to the same period last year. In the same period there were 1.003.503, which is 7,4 percent higher than in 2012.

In this period in the FB&H, there were a total of 67,3 percent tourists (314.551 tourists, 11,9 percent higher than in 2012) and a 61,1 percent total number of nights (612.958, 10,5 percent higher than in 2012).

According to data from the B&H Central Bank, earnings from tourism in the first six months of 2013 amounted to 405,9 million KM, which is 3,6 percent higher than in the same period in 2012.
