bh. fudbaleriThe football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina had its first loss in the qualifications for the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

Last night in Zenica, the team of B&H with the coach Safet Sušić was defeated by Slovakia with 0:1. The only goal scorer was Viktor Pecovsky at the 77th minute.

The football players of B&H failed to continue the winning streak. Slovakia was a better selection than the team of B&H, which with the last night’s win came in the game to win the second place in the group.

The coach Safet Šusić after the game congratulated the Slovaks for the deserved victory.

“We played well at some moments. In the first half of the match, we had some chances and if we had scored a goal by then everything would have been different. I wanted the victory at any cost, we took a risk and played openly, but there were canceled many players, especially from our offense. To us, there is no other choice but to fully win all the three games, but the situation is now far more difficult”, said Sušić after the match.

B&H despite the defeat maintained the top position in the group, but now there are fewer chances to keep it until the end of qualifications. In the three games our team needs to reach all three victories, and the first test will be on Tuesday in Žilina against the same opponent.
