In the play-off for the European Championship in France 2016, the national football team of B&H will play against the national team of Ireland, as decided today on draw in Nyon.
After winning the 3rd place in Group B in qualifications for the European Championship, the national team will play against representation of Ireland, in order to qualify for the Euro, their second big competition.
First matches will be played between the 12th and 14th of November and rematches will be played between 15th and 17th of November, in the period between 6:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. When exactly will our Dragons play their matches will be known very soon. One thing is for sure, they will host the first match, which will be played at Bilino Polje in Zenica.
At the Euro in France, besides domestic team, directly qualified following teams: Iceland, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Belgium, Wales, Spain, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, England, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Romania, Austria, Russia, Italy, Croatia, Portugal and Albania.
On behalf of the Football Association of B&H (NSB&H), the draw was attended by the Vice President of NSB&H Darko Ljubojevic, general secretary Jasmin Bakovic, head coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and secretary of the coaching staff Elmir Pilav.
