connecting-classroomsMore than 250 high school pupils from Scotland, Poland and B&H will dance today in front of the BBI centre a choreography created especially for this occasion by the Scotish National Ballet Ensemble.

It is the central manifestation of the Connecting Classrooms project which connected young people and professors from thirty schools from the EU with the schools in B&H.

After the dance, a screening of short films made by pupils showing results of the work and research within this project as well as the exhibition of their graphic works and cultural stands will be held.

Connecting Classrooms is a part of the Connecting Creatively project, one of the activities by the Foundation “Sarajevo – heart of Europe” and the program “Sarajevo 2014” financed by the EU within marking of the 100 anniversary of the beginning of the World War I.

The Connecting Classrooms project is financed by the EU and implemented by the British Council in cooperation with the local and international partners.

The project is focused on international cooperation concerning topics like peace, resilience and renewal as well as readiness to face the future challenges together.
