After Tuzla Gastro Show, where Bosnian pie and cevapies were prepared with the aim to enter the Guinness World Record, Tuzla is preparing another great event this spring.

Representatives of around 100 touristic agencies from the region will be in the City of Salt, together with mayors of large cities from the region, as well as folk dancers from these cities.

“We have not set up an exact date, but everything will happen in the month of April or May. We called the project “We are Europe, we are world” and it will last for three days. Hundreds of tourist agencies will be presenting the tourist potentials of all the cities in Canton Tuzla in the first two days, and we are planning a large party at the Freedom Square in Tuzla,” said the organizer of the event, Omer Isovic.

As announced by the organizers, this project will be supported by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Traffic of the TC, the Government of TC, Tourist Board of TC and the City of Tuzla.

“We are planning to gather 15,000 members of cultural societies and associations on that day as well as the mayors of larger cities from BiH and the region, and hopefully, the ambassadors of many countries,” said Omer Isovic.

The project “We are Europe, we are the world” should host the mayors of cities and representatives of the chambers of crafts of Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar, Zenica, Bihac, Belgrade, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Pristina, Novi Sad, Skopje, Podgorica, Split… Besides them, around 15,000 people engaged in folklore is planned to represent the cities and countries from which they come and to participate in this world’s largest event, as announced by Kreativa Marketing.

“We are expecting this to be a great promotion of tourism potential of Canton Tuzla and BiH. If only 30 of the tourist agencies put our destinations in their offers, I think that it would be a great success and a great promotion for us,” said the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Transport, Mirsad Gluhic.
