The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has sentenced Darko Elez to a single prison sentence of 20 years, lawyer Senad Kreho confirmed to Federal Television. Earlier, Elez, on the basis of a plea agreement, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for serious crimes combined in the Puppet case.
However, at the request of the accused, the verdict of the Court in East Sarajevo handed down in 2004 for murder was united in his verdict.
We remind you that Darko Elez was arrested in 2020 on an Interpol arrest warrant and extradited to BiH, where he is serving his sentence. Allegedly, Elez is waiting for a decision on extradition to Serbia, at his request to serve his sentence there.
