BiH defeated Greece 3:1

BiH football team defeated tonight at Bilino polje stadium football team of Greece with 3:1 and in doing so Bosnian Dragons made a huge step towards qualifying to World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

After initial attack of BiH, Greeks started playing very defensively, but in 29th minute Edin Džeko scored the first goal for BIH which created a shockwave of joy throughout the stadium.

Few minutes later, a penalty was awarded to BIH team, and Zvjezdan Misimović shot, and although he did not score, Vedad Ibišević took the ball and scored for 2:0 lead.

First serious shot for Greeks happened in 39th minute, but there were no goals. The first half-time ended with 2:0.

In the second half-time BiH team threatened again, and in 54th minute Džeko scored the third goal for BiH.

In the last minute of the match, Gekas scored the only goal for Greeks for the final result 3:1.

BiH is now first team of group G with 13 points, before Greece with 10 points, Slovakia with 8, Lithuania with 5, Latvia with 4 and the last place is Lichtenstein with 1 point.
