On August 28 and 29, the Commander of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Major General Radovan Ilić, visited the members of the Temporary Composition Unit of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are on a humanitarian mission of providing assistance to civilian structures in the Republic of Slovenia, and which was declared the most productive on the ground.
General Ilić, as part of his visit to the temporary unit of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, met with representatives of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Slovenia and representatives of local authorities, municipalities of Mežica, Črna na Koroška, Prevalja and Ravne na Koroška, where the contingent of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina is participating in the humanitarian operation to prevent, eliminate, mitigate and rehabilitation of the consequences of floods.
Representatives of the Slovenian Army and local authorities, together with members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, had the opportunity to visit the threatened areas and see the results of the work on the ground, and mutual satisfaction with the results achieved and the level of cooperation was highlighted.
On this occasion, General Ilić met with the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Slovenian Army, Brigadier General Koracin Franco. The generals exchanged information on the past, current and future activities of the Armed Forces of BiH and the Army of Slovenia and agreed that their actions will contribute to the development of good bilateral relations between the two armies.
