welcome-party6Benis Kadric from Visoko is one of the members of BH national team in sitting volleyball who defended the colors of our country and brought a silver medal from Rio de Janeiro. However, his story is the best indicator of how these guys put our country even in front of their own health.

After landing at the airport in Sarajevo, captain of BH team Sabahudin Delalic revealed that 29-year-old Kadric spent five days in the hospital.

“When we talk about the team, I as a captain, cannot skip to mention and say to which of our athletes our country is the most important. Our colleague and teammate Benis Kadric spent five days in the hospital, had two thrombus, one below the knee and one in the groin. He was not allowed to even move, let alone to play. Though his doctor did not allow him to perform, he prepared and trained with us and played that match. Thanks you,” said Delalic.

To recall, BiH was defeated by Iran in the final Paralympic match in Rio de Janeiro. Team and selector landed in Sarajevo and addressed the public at the airport.
