The Federal Sanitary Inspection prohibited the import of a shipment of 600 children’s “Mickey Mouse” toys originating from China at the customs clearance point Mostar-Rodoč, due to non-fulfillment of the conditions for import, announced the Administration for Inspection Affairs of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the process of inspection supervision over the importation of items of general use whose customs clearance is carried out at the customs clearance point Mostar-Rodoč, samples of the controlled product were taken, the chemical analysis of which determined that it does not correspond to the provisions of the Rulebook on conditions regarding the health of items of general use that can be placed on the market.

In accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Healthiness of Foodstuffs and Items of General Use, the import of a controlled shipment with a total weight of 120 kilograms is prohibited, and it is ordered to be returned to the sender, i.e. destroyed in the prescribed manner in the event that return is not possible, it was stated in the statement.
