BiH Foreign Minister: We are Working on de-escalation of the Crisis

President of People and Justice party Elmedin Konaković stated that the parties of the “Coalition of the Three” are still working on a plan for de-escalation of the crisis, which they need to agree with other partners at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Speaking about the partners in the government at the BiH level, Konaković told journalists after the meeting of representatives of the “Three” at the SDP headquarters that the agreement made at the beginning was not respected and called for a return to the framework of the Constitution and the European path.

“We need to implement our entire joint agreement, not just parts of it,” said Konaković.

He assessed the working atmosphere with partners at the BiH level as tense and without the trust that existed before.

When it comes to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Konaković, who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that a session should be held soon to discuss the adoption of documents set by the EU as a task.

“We are waiting to see if there is a mood to hold another telephone or extraordinary session tomorrow at which some of these laws would be adopted. It can hardly be done in one day, but we can partially fulfill our obligations from the 14 priorities,” Konaković concluded.
