BiH Institute issued an Orange Warning for Today

An orange warning has been issued for today for all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to strong winds, which in some places will reach gusts of up to 110 kilometers per hour, Meteoalarm announced.

Be prepared for disruptions, structural damage and risk of injury from uprooted trees, the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute said.

Wind gusts between 50 and 80, and in higher areas up to 90 kilometers per hour. Interruptions in the supply of electricity are also possible.

Precipitation is expected in Herzegovina, western, southwestern and partially central areas. More intense in the second part of the day and during the following night.

The expected amount of precipitation is between 40 and 80, locally in the northwest of Herzegovina up to 100 liters of rain per square meter, and the occurrence of urban and flash floods is possible.
