The Council of Ministers of BiH has concluded by instructing the BiH Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury to propose, within seven days, a modality for restructuring expenditures in the budget of the Ministry of Defense, in order to secure funds for the procurement of multi-purpose helicopters for firefighting.
This decision would procure multi-purpose helicopters, which would play a role in firefighting and other emergency situations.
Attempts to procure the helicopters have been underway for some time, but obstruction from the RS has prevented this.
According to the agreement with the US, BiH should allocate 4.3 million BAM, and the rest would be provided by the US Government.
