Today in Sarajevo, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive Great Britain’s special envoy for the Western Balkans, Stuart Peach.

The meeting is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. in the BiH Presidency building, this institution announced.

During his last visit to BiH in November 2022, Peach pointed out that the United Kingdom will continue to support Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Euro-Atlantic path, reform processes and the rule of law, and that the UK remains committed to the democratic and security progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the prosperity of the country as a whole. He emphasized that the interest of the UK is to strengthen the security and stability of the region of the Western Balkans and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Special envoy Sir Stuart Peach confirmed that the UK plans to increase investment in the infrastructure of the Western Balkans through British investment partnerships. As he pointed out, this will, among other things, increase energy independence, and employment, expand production capacities, and through the transfer of technology, the competitiveness of the economy would also increase.
