BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Held Meeting With Director of USAID BiH

lagumdžija 1The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija received yesterday the Director of the US Agency for International Development in BIH (USAID) David Barth. They spoke about the possibility of signing a memorandum on understanding between USAID and in the area of development.

The memorandum on understanding governs the ways of support of BIH in the development strategies and cooperation with BiH for the period from 2012-2016.

The goal is stability of BIH and for the country to get closer to Euro Atlantic integration through more functional and accountable institutions that would meet the needs of citizens, and a competitive, market-oriented economy that will provide better economic opportunities for all citizens.

Lagumdžija thanked the US government and USAID for its constant support and assistance that it lends to BiH, and expressed hope that the strategy of development would contribute to the progress of BIH and its citizens, announced the BIH Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
