The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, met today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yasser Sorour.

They discussed improving cooperation in the field of security between the two countries, with special emphasis on the fight against illegal migration and terrorism.

The importance of adequate cooperation between the security services of the two countries and a joint response to these global threats was emphasized.

Ambassador Sorour invited Minister Nešić to visit Egypt, which would be the first official visit of the Minister of Security of BiH to this country, which could be realized by the end of the year.

Accepting this invitation, Minister Nešić expressed his expectation that through the meetings of ministers and officials at the highest level, the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries will be further improved, and the cooperation of police agencies in the fight against all forms of international organized crime will be strengthened, the Ministry of Security of BiH announced.
