BiH paid 580 million BAM of external Debt last Year

foreign-debtThe due obligations by external debt of Bosnia and Herzegovina were fully services last year, in the amount of 581.33 million BAM; it was stated in the Report on execution of the budget for 2015 which was discussed yesterday by delegates in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

Of that amount, 477.99 million BAM or 82.22 percent refers to repayment of principal, while 103.34 million BAM or 17.78 percent refers to repayment of interest rates, service costs and other costs.

Majority share in total services amount is taken by payments to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the amount of 121.04 million BAM, the World Bank 119.20 million BAM and to the International Monetary Fund 106.68 million BAM.

Furthermore, 153.28 million BAM or 26.37 percent refers to paid obligations by old debt, while 428.04 million BAM or 73.63 percent is paid for obligations on the basis of the new debt.

In the total amount of services obligations, the FBiH participated with 375.23 million BAM or 64.55 percent, Republika Srpska with 199.12 million BAM or 34.25 percent, District Brčko with 2.87 million BAM or 0.49 percent and national institutions with 4.11 million BAM or 0.71 percent.

Delegates are currently considering audit reports for 73 national institutions within a consolidated discussion.
