BiH Police arrested Eight Persons

On August 6, 2023, members of the Orašje BiH Border Police Unit deprived R.Š. (1985), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Namely, the border checks established that he is wanted by the Basic Court in Zvornik in order to serve a prison sentence. He was controlled on his way out of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Orašje International Border Crossing and handed over to the officers of the Bijeljina Judicial Police District Center. Previously, on August 1, 2023, members of this unit deprived S.B. (1989) when entering BiH at the Orašje crossing. It was established that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton issued a search warrant for him for the criminal offense of Document Forgery. Bh. the citizen was handed over to the officers of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton.

On August 5, 2023, members of the Gradiška GPBiH Unit deprived two BiH citizens of their freedom at the Gradiška crossing. Upon entering BiH, D.B. was deprived of his liberty. (1995) because he is wanted by the Municipal Court in Sanski Most to serve a prison sentence. He was handed over to the officers of the Judicial Police Center in the Una-Sana Canton. On his way out of BiH, D.M. was deprived of his freedom. (1964) because he is wanted by the Municipal Court in Živinice for the criminal offense of forging a document. He was handed over to the officers of the Judicial Police Center in Posavina Canton.

Members of the GPBiH Brod Unit, on August 5, 2023, deprived S.R. (1990), after it was established that the Zenica Police Department had issued a search warrant for him for the crime of aggravated theft. Bh. the citizen was controlled upon entering our country at the Brod crossing and handed over to the officers of the Zenica Police Department. In addition to the above, members of this unit deprived S.P. of his freedom on August 3, 2023. (1995) because it was established that he was wanted by the Basic Court in Zvornik in order to serve a prison sentence. BiH citizen was controlled on his way out of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Brod crossing and handed over to the officers of the Doboj Judicial Police District Center.

Members of the GPBiH Unit, Banja Luka Airport, on August 4, 2023, on a flight from Dortmund, deprived D.D. (1993), after it was determined that the Banja Luka Police Department had issued a search warrant for him for the criminal offense of Causing a General Danger. The BiH citizen was handed over to the officers of the Banja Luka Police Department.

On August 2, 2023, members of the GPBiH Sarajevo Airport Unit deprived N.Š. (1961), after it was determined that Interpol Sarajevo had issued a manhunt for him for war crimes. The holder of a United States travel document arrived at Sarajevo International Airport on a flight from Istanbul. He was handed over to the officers of the Judicial Police District Center East Sarajevo.

Members of the Gorica GPBiH Unit, on August 1, 2023, deprived BiH of their freedom a citizen, N.M. (1977), after it was established that he was wanted by the Court of BiH for the criminal offense of Human Smuggling. The mentioned person was controlled in the border zone in the area of Posušje and handed over to the officers of the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Detention and Other Measures of BiH.
