BiH Presidency Chairperson comments Becirovic’s Request

The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, stated to Srna news agency that this institution is not competent for issues delegated by the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, nor would the conclusions that would be reached by being outvoted, as she stated, carry an obligation for the Republika Srpska.

“Bećirović also knows that, he needs a topic. It would have been better if he had proposed to end the discussion about the allocation of positions in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which he postponed last time in order to prevent a Serb from being at the head of the Joint Staff,” said Cvijanović.

The member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, today submitted a request to the procedure for holding an extraordinary session of the Presidency on the occasion of, as he stated, the escalation of attacks by the Republika Srpska authorities on the fundamental provisions of the Dayton Peace Agreement and endangering the constitutional and legal order of BiH.
