Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović had separate meetings on Saturday, as part of the Munich Security Conference, with Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Annalena Baerbock.

These meetings represent a continuation of the ongoing cooperation between Bećirović and the highest German officials, and a concrete continuation of discussions on topics of strategic interest for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the conversation with Chancellor Scholz, Member of the Presidency of BiH Bećirović placed special emphasis on the increasing threats to the security and stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans.

Chancellor Scholz thanked Bećirović for his continued cooperation and firm commitment to the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and underlined the unquestionable support of the Federal Republic of Germany to our country on that path.

Minister Baerbock and Member of the Presidency Bećirović underlined the importance of maintaining the attention of the European Union and its individual members to the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and of decisive action aimed at preserving the peace and security of our country and the entire region.
