BiH prohibits Import of ‘Nutella Bisquit’ Products

On December 22 last year, the Federal Market Inspection at the Border Crossing (GP) Gorica banned the import of part of the shipment of the manufacturer Ferrero originating from Italy.

During the regular inspection of the cross-border movement of goods, i.e. after submitting a request for control of the shipment in question, a documentation review found that all the necessary documents were attached to the submitted request, but during the inspection of the shipment at the border terminal, a sample of the product “Nutella bisquit” in the amount of 7,413 box, which was found not to be in the request and the attached supplier’s invoice. Furthermore, it was determined that when sending the total shipment, goods that were not ordered for the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina were loaded.

Accordingly, and in accordance with the Law on the Quality Control of Certain Products during Import and Export (“Official Gazette of the FBiH”, number: 21/97), the import of part of the controlled consignment is prohibited, as it was not ordered for the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was announced from Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs.
