BiH screened the film “Dante” in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in BiH

The film “Dante” by the Italian director Pupio Avati was shown in the BiH Cinematheque, in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in BiH, it was announced from the BiH Cinematheque.

Before the screening of the film, the Italian ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marco Di Ruzza, addressed the audience.

The film “Dante” is about the Italian poet Dante Alighieri and his life, and the plot is intertwined with the life of Giovanni Boccaccio and his journey from Florence to Ravenna. Boccaccio repeats part of Dante’s journey and stops in the same monasteries, villages, castles and discovers the details of Dante Alighieri’s life drama.

The main role in the film is played by the famous Italian actor Sergio Castellitto.
