BiH Security Minister meets with the UK Delegation

The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Selmo Cikotic, met today with members of the all-party parliamentary group of the British Parliament, with whom he discussed the security situation, challenges in BiH and the region, and future cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by members of the British Parliament Fleur Anderson, Bob Stewart, Jackie Doyle Price, Karen Ann Bradley, Anne Bradley, Martin Wickers, Tony Lloyd, Alyn Smith ) and David Doogan, and the British Ambassador to BiH Matt Field.

During the meeting, British parliamentarians expressed great interest in the current political and security situation in our country, the consequences of political blockades in the work of BiH institutions, but also the impact of global security threats on BiH and the region.

Minister Cikotic thanked Great Britain for the exceptional attention they pay to monitoring the situation in BiH, providing support and strengthening stability in our country. The importance of BiH’s progress towards Euro-Atlantic integration was emphasized, which is one of the main foreign policy goals of BiH, and the continuation of Great Britain’s support was announced in fulfilling these conditions.
