Annually at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, about 2.300 babies are born, of which six percent of them needs extra care due to infection or premature birth. Life-threatened babies need intensive treatment at clinic centers which are a few hundred kilometers away from our institution. In such cases, the transport incubator will significantly contribute to the safety of newborn transport, ie reduce further brain damage, which can result in permanent consequences for the growth and development of the child.

In hopes of recognizing the importance of transport incubator procurement, humanitarian action has been organized. By paying funds to the Association- Branch of Una Sana Canton (USC) Gynecologists and Perinatologists, citizens can donate funds and thus enable the procurement of a transport incubator.
