Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Finance and Treasury Minister Vjekoslav Bevanda confirmed that the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted at today’s session the Decision on Temporary Financing of BiH Institutions.

Bevanda said that the BiH Council of Ministers on June 16th, 2019 received a Proposal for a Decision on Temporary Financing, submitted by the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury on June 6th 2019 to the executive branch.

“The decision was adopted, although many announced the collapse. The decision was adopted unanimously,” Bevanda said. Bevanda urged BiH’s Presidency to adopt the budget for 2019 as soon as possible, given that the draft budget was adopted in January and sent to the BiH Presidency.

He pointed out that sessions of the BiH Council of Ministers were postponed due to different opinions of the members of the college.
