Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak will participate in the informal meeting of EU foreign ministers, the Western Balkans and Turkey in Bucharest on February 1st as part of Romania’s EU Council Presidency.
The host of the meeting is Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Meleşcanu, and will be chaired by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
Romania, which took over the six-month presidency of the EU Council on January 1, 2019, has highlighted the strengthening of cohesion between EU member states, preserving security and strengthening the role of the EU as a global leader and the EU’s enlargement policy in the Western Balkans as a priority of its presidency.
