The expansion of economic, cultural and sport cooperation between the city government and institutions in Bijeljina with associations and clubs of expatriates in Austria were the main topics between the Mayor of Bijeljina Mićo Mićić with representatives of the diaspora from Vienna on 8 August in Bijeljina.
Mićić presented to the guests from Austria the economic advantages of the Semberija area, above all the geothermal potentials and the benefits for investing in the industrial zones, according to the website of the municipality.
On behalf of the delegation from Austria, Tatjana Kukić-Jank announced that the local business club would organize at the end of September a visit of business people to Vienna, which would be an opportunity for the exchange of information with Austrian business associations and to present to them opportunities for economic cooperation.
