The Deputy Minister of Defense for BiH Marina Pendeš received today a delegation from the Norweigan Ministry of Defense, which is here on a visit to the BiH Ministry of Defense.
The Delegation held talks on bilateral cooperation.
The Assistant Secretary for the Ministry of Defense for International Cooperation Zoran Šajinović led the BiH Ministry of Defense delegation.
During the meeting they spoke of the plan for bilateral defense cooperation for 2013, as well as regional cooperation with a special emphasis on the Presidency of BiH Forum for defense cooperation between Western Balkan countries in 2013, and Euro Atlantic integration.
An emphasis was put on the project of gender equality, status of NATO Trust Fund ‘’Perspektiva’’, human resources management and development strategy for the function of the BiH Ministry of Defense.
At the end they officially signed a plan of bilateral defense cooperation between BiH and Norway.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the degree of realization of the cooperation plan for 2012, as well as a considerable level of overall cooperation between the two countries. They also announced that the mere act of signing the plan confirms the continuation of good military-defense cooperation.
They also said that the upcoming events for 2013 will open opportunities for further expansion and improvement of cooperation.
