Bilateral Relations between BiH and Belgium are good

The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Borjana Krišto, said today in Sarajevo at a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Hadja Lahbib, that the key prerequisites for the achievement of internal stability and the continuation of reforms are limited constitutional reforms and a comprehensive amendment of the Election Law of BiH in accordance with the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH on the legitimate representation of constituents. people.

Kristo informed Lahbib about the current political situation in BiH and emphasized BiH’s commitment to the European path and the acceleration of reform and integration processes.

At the meeting, it was stated that bilateral relations between BiH and Belgium are good and without open issues, and that this represents a good basis for strengthening cooperation in all areas, especially the economy, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.

Kristo expressed her gratitude to Belgium for continuous support to the European perspective of BiH, and especially for their willingness to transfer experience and knowledge in the field of European integration, the European coordination mechanism and the transposition of EU legislation.

She said that the reopening of the Embassy of Belgium in Bosnia and Herzegovina will contribute to the improvement of relations and the intensification of cooperation in the context of EU integration and economic cooperation.
