12 years ago, the former US president, Bill Clinton, officially opened the Memorial Center Potocari, and in March that year, the first 600 victims of the Srebrenica genocide were buried.
Since then, every year on 11th July, victims of the genocide are being buried, and until now 6.377 victims have found the eternal peace.
The twelfth anniversary was marked with the commemorative program and reading Fatiha for all victims.
The Memorial center is opened every day from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
