The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team defeated Cyprus with a score of 108:62 and, with France’s victory in Croatia, qualified for Eurobasket, their second in a row.

The match started with a great 8:0 run for the Dragons, and four minutes before the end of the first quarter we were leading by a huge 21:8.

At those moments, our selection was carried by Musa with eight and Lazić with six points, and by the end of the first quarter the score was 28:14.

After the first short break, the Dragons continued where they left off. The explosive Bosnians and Herzegovinians completely controlled the game, so Adis Bećiragić had the opportunity to rotate his players a little more.

That did not affect the result either, and the Dragons maintained their advantage at around plus 20 points. Kamenjaš and Alibegović showed their mettle in the second quarter, and two minutes before halftime the score was 46:27.

In the end, the second half of the match ended with a score of 53:29, and it was already clear that Bosnia and Herzegovina would win, the only question was how big the difference would be in the end, N1 writes.

The second half could not pass without everyone in the hall being interested in the result in Jazine between Croatia and France. This may have led to a slight drop in concentration in the Dragons’ game, so the Cypriots took advantage of it for a 5:0 series, but we still had a large advantage of 62:39 halfway through the third quarter.

With three minutes left, the Dragons returned the difference to plus 30 (73:43), and Xavier Castaneda also scored the first points for the BiH national team.

The third half ended with a score of 82:50.

The entire fourth quarter was just a formality, so Bosnia and Herzegovina certainly brought the match to an end. The best individuals in the ranks of the Dragons were Džanan Musa and Kenan Kamenjaš with 31 and 21 points, respectively.

The best for Cyprus was Michail with 11 points.
