Bosnia hits Record 85 Deaths caused by COVID-19 in One Day

Today, 674 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Out of that, 463 new cases were registered in the Federation of BiH, 180 in the Republika Srpska, and 31 new cases of virus infection were registered in the Brcko District of BiH.

85 people died, 62 in FBiH, 22 in RS and one in Brcko District. 2641 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 463 were positive for the virus.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. A total of 325,364 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 69,030 persons.

As of today, 49,815 patients have been cured in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 672 patients. 17,151 cases are currently active.

In the past 24 hours, 62 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. During the past 24 hours, 22 deaths were reported to the RS Institute of Public Health, in which the presence of coronavirus was confirmed.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in RS, testing of 635 laboratory samples has been tested in the last 24 hours, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 180 cases.
