Pedja BajovicThe show titled ‘In Ingliš’ is set for Monday, December 15 and will start at 21.00h at the Jazz Club Monument (Štrosmajerova 3). The entrance fee is 10KM. The seat reservations are highly recommended as the seating will be limited to 70 people and it can be made at 061 304 777.

Next January Pedja Bajović will mark ten years of his first stand-up comedy performance ever. The past decade saw this pioneer of the regional stand-up comedy doing over a thousand gigs in many different occasions and venues, both before two drunks at a provincial bar and in front of couple thousand people in a sports arena.

Pedja Bajović was the first ever comedian from the Eastern Europe to compete at the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2012. Last year he was invited to perform at the Comedy Central’s production of Stand-Up Express in Budapest. This year, he got invited again. Also earlier this year, Pedja received his Best Veteran Award at the Adria Comedy Awards in Skopje, Macedonia.

Apart from performing all over former Yugoslavia, this current Sarajevo resident, also travelled the rest of the world and many couturiers saw his stand-up, both in Bosnian and in English: USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Hungary…

Now he decided to make the premiere of his English language comedy special in Sarajevo, simply titled IN INGLIŠ. Why here? Because this city is got many ‘stranci’ as well as those  who work for ‘stranci’, which makes many of them able to enjoy this show in English ant to relate to what this comedian will be talking about, starting with Balkans meets West, then continued to the Americans against the rest of the world, European work ethics and the local reply to it, male vs. female and their joint forces vs. children, animals vs. humans… much about difference, but not less about other universal topics. One plus hour of laughter.
