On the occasion of the completion of the Modular Initial Officer Training Course and the promotion of cadets to the first officer ranks, a ceremonial ceremony was held at the Royal Air Force College in Cranwell (RAF College, United Kingdom).

Fifty-eight participants completed the course, including Cadet Ferid Zambaković, now a Second Lieutenant in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSBiH). The central event of the promotion was the parade of new officers in front of the Commander of the Royal Air Force College, Air Commodore A.J.Lyle.

The parade ended with a ceremonial march past guests, who included high-ranking officials, members of the military-diplomatic corps and family members of the promoted officers.

During the ceremonial ceremony, awards were presented for the achievements of the participants.

Second Lieutenant Zambaković was awarded The Overseas Student’s Prize, which is awarded to the international cadet for the best overall result in leadership, officer characteristics and professional studies on the course.

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Jasmin Čajić, Brigadier Radenko Prerad and Military Attaché to the UK Brigadier Anto Klajić on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH.

After the ceremony, a special gathering was organized with the promoted officers, and Second Lieutenant Zambaković was congratulated on his success and wished for a successful continuation of his career in the Armed Forces of BiH, the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defence of BiH announced.
