In Cafe-Gallery ”Zvono” in Sarajevo, cultural association ”Ambrosia” from Sarajevo will present three new publications of ”Fandium”. Promotion will be accompanied with video and music projection.
Name ”Fandium” is neologism of ”Ambrosia” from the word fanzin and compendium. It is a sort of archive project and with this publication ”Ambrosia” is trying to evoke its own practical and theoretical work from 1995 until today.
Fandium 7-1 brings a corpus of texts that try to answer the question what is ”Ambrosia”.
Fandium 7-1 contains a CD of experimental music from music workshop of ”Ambrosia”.
Fandium 7-2 – dedicated to 52 radio-shows under the name ”Glossary of historic dying” which were aired in the period 1995-1996 on the radio Studio 99.
”Glossary” follows history of art, ideas, and events that shaped the world of ”Ambrosia”.
Fandium 7-3 puts in focus art performance in general, because ”Ambrosia” deals with it the most.
Working in the field of (counter) cultural production, in art and social studies, ”Ambrosia” has realised more than 150 art projects, concerts, plays, exhibitions, lectures, radio-shows, and has organised several international festivals and conferences, and published several texts in BiH, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Italy, The Netherlands, the Czech Rep., Austria, Hungary, Norway and Germany.
