An informal group of caterers in Tuzla Canton has announced peaceful protests over the introduction of new measures in the canton. According to the order issued yesterday by the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the Tuzla Canton, as of today, the work of all catering facilities in the area of the Tuzla Canton is limited to a maximum of 20:00.

This order applies to all catering facilities, regardless of whether it is a separate facility or a facility within another public facility, and is valid until March 18, 2021.

All city / municipal crisis headquarters, as well as city and municipal inspections were ordered to strengthen the staff of inspection services, and to maximize inspection supervision when it comes to the implementation of the above order, as well as the application of valid recommendations and orders when it comes to organization and the operation of catering facilities.

Tuzla caterers gathered through an informal group submitted a request to the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior Police Directorate to hold peaceful protests in front of the TC Government building tomorrow at 12:00 in accordance with epidemiological measures.

”We invite all citizens of Tuzla Canton to join us and provide support for the realization of rights but also the survival of the entire hospitality sector, which has about 20,000 employees through public support and a clear position that such decisions cannot be made unilaterally, without consulting sector representatives or potential solutions for the damage caused by those decisions,” it is stated in the announcement.

It is time for the “Government” and those responsible to take full and not partial responsibility for all those who do their job honestly and fill the budget they manage for years, said the informal group of caterers.
